Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 jar black olives, pitted
- 1 package of sheep’s cheese
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 3 tbsp mixed herbs
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- 8 small cherry tomatoes
- 4 slice(s) bell pepper(s), roasted, from the jar
- salt and pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- Clarified butter
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg(s)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Mini surprise meatballs
Finely chop the onion, press the garlic, and knead it into a dough with the herbs, ground beef, egg, and breadcrumbs. Season to taste with the spices. Dice the feta cheese, mozzarella, and bell peppers. Form the meatball dough into small, ping-pong-sized balls and press alternating peppers, olives, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, or mozzarella into each one. Fry in a pan with clarified butter until crispy and serve with dips. For a party, the balls can also be cooked on a baking sheet.
