Beef rump steaks in a fine grill marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup (spiced ketchup)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp spice(s) (grill seasoning)
  • 4 steaks (beef rump steaks), 200g each

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients together and marinate the sirloin steaks overnight. Remove from the marinade, pat dry, and grill on both sides. TIP: The meat will be especially tender if marinated two days before grilling.
