simple, fast, cheap
Preheat the oven to 125 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit) top and bottom heat. Sear the sirloin steaks in a hot pan with a little oil on each side for about two minutes. Then quickly wrap them in aluminum foil and let them rest in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes. The time depends on your needs: for medium, 35 minutes is better; for those who like their steaks well done, about 45 minutes. IMPORTANT: Turn the oven down to 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit). It’s best to check every 10 minutes and slice a steak; nothing can go wrong! Wash the potatoes and cook them in bubbling water until tender. Drain and peel the potatoes. I salt them on the plate. Peel and dice the carrots. Cook in a small saucepan with a little water, just enough to cover the carrots. When the water is gone, mix the flour with the 30 ml of water and add it. Season.
