Beef Stroganoff with Peppers
The perfect beef stroganoff with peppers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Mushrooms
- 2 Red peppers
- 600 g Beef fillet
- 1 Onion red
- 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- Salt and pepper
- Sweet paprika
- 0,5 liter Beef broth
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 200 g Sour cream
- 1 tsp Food starch
- 0,5 bunch Fresh dill
- Clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Clean the bell peppers, wash and cut into strips. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into strips. Peel the onion and cut into strips.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the meat in portions over high heat, season with salt and pepper, remove. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the frying fat and fry the mushrooms in it. Add peppers and onions and fry for about 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Pour in the stock and stir in the mustard, bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir the sour cream and starch until smooth. Stir the mixture into the sauce. Add the meat and simmer for about 3 minutes. Wash the dill, shake dry and finely chop. Spread the beef stroganoff on plates, sprinkle with dill and serve with rice.
