Ingredients

  • 2 slices Toast
  • 2 slices Beef tartare
  • 2 Quail eggs
  • 2 Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 tsp Green peppercorns pickled
  • 2 Cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 Caper berries
  • 2 Spring onion

Instructions

Preface

  • I bought too much for our birthday guests and so there were leftovers .... a few quail eggs, 2 slices of toast and a good portion of beef tartare were left ..... but enjoy the tartare raw the next day ??? NO ! That is not how it works...

preparation

  • Toast the slices of toast - spread the tartare on top (be careful, cover the edges well, otherwise there will be burned corners!) - In the middle we need a small recess for the quail eggs - place the slices of toast coated with tartare on a heat-resistant plate and underneath Cook in the grill for about 5 minutes ((not too close to the grill - keep a little distance!)
  • Raised it and put the quail eggs in the recess - sprinkle with mixed pepper - again in the oven and cook again for about 5 minutes on O / U until the quail eggs are ready

decorate and serve

  • Put some pepper from the mill on the plate - put the finished toasts on top and decorate with various other leftovers from the evening before (pickled green pepper, cocktail tomatoes, caper berries, spring onion rolls ...)
