Quiche: Quiche with Tomatoes and Peppers

The perfect quiche: quiche with tomatoes and peppers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

The dough

  • 100 g Flour
  • 40 g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Water

The topping

  • 0,5 piece Red pepper, rest
  • 3 piece Spring onions, rest
  • 1 piece Tomatoes, rest
  • Pepper
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 50 ml Cream 10% fat
  • 1 pinch Salt

the dough

  1. Make a firm dough out of flour, butter, salt, a little water and vinegar and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  2. Grease and crumble a quiche tin (19 cm) and press the dough in, pulling up the edges.

The topping

  1. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes, the spring onion into rings and the tomato – don’t forget to remove the stalk – cut into slices.
  2. Now first put the peppers on the dough, pepper, then the spring onion rings and finally the tomato slices. Season with pepper again.
  3. Whisk the cream with the egg and a pinch of salt and pour over the vegetables.
  4. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and bake the quiche in it for 35 minutes until the edges turn golden.
