Beef with chicory

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 200 g beef fillet(s)
  • 2 chicory
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Press the garlic clove through a press and mix with the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and sugar. Slice the spring onion lengthwise into wafer-thin slices. Also slice the beef fillet thinly and toss in the seasoning sauce. Separate the chicory into leaves, cutting large leaves in half. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan. Fry the meat over high heat for about 1 1/2 minutes, turning frequently, then remove from the pan. Fry the chicory for about 1 minute, turning constantly. Add the meat, toss to coat, and continue to fry briefly. Season the dish with pepper and salt gently. Sprinkle the spring onions over the top. Serve with rice. For 2 servings, one serving has 268 kcal.
