Beef Wok

Delicious beef fillet with teriyaki sauce, vegetables, and soybean sprouts

Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 400g beef fillet
  • approx. 20 g fresh ginger
  • 100g bean sprouts
  • 1 bell pepper, yellow
  • 2 chilies, red
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 spring onions
  • 200g Chinese cabbage
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Cut the beef fillet into fine strips.
  2. Peel and finely dice the ginger. Rinse the sprouts well with water. Remove the cores and partitions from the peppers and chilies. Cut the peppers into even strips. Finely dice the chilies. Peel carrots and cut them into fine strips. Remove the ends of the spring onions and cut the rest into fine rings. Remove the core of the cabbage and cut the rest into fine strips.
  3. Heat the wok on high. Add peanut oil and sear the meat briefly. Immediately remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. Now fry the peppers, chili, carrots, and Chinese cabbage. Add the sprouts and ginger and stir through.
  5. Now add the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, and spring onions, mix together and toss.
  6. Finally add sesame and seared fillet and mix. Season with salt and pepper, serve, and enjoy.
