Beer Chicken, Marinated

The perfect beer chicken, marinated recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Chicken
  • 0,5 liter Beer Hell
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Thyme spice
  • Marjoram spice
  • 200 g Streaky bacon
  • 2 Onions
  • 50 g Clarified butter
  • 1 tsp Flour
  1. Cut the chicken in half or into four parts as desired. Let it steep in the marinade of beer, salt, pepper, marjoram and thyme for 24 hours. Dice the bacon and onions. Fry the chicken in the lard until golden brown. Add the bacon and onions and cook with them.
  2. Pour in some marinade, dust with flour, add the remaining marinade and season. Braise for another 15 minutes. Arrange on plates with the chicken and pour on the sauce. I served it with potatoes and red cabbage. Good Appeit!
