Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 450 g creamed spinach, frozen
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • Milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • butter
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mashed potatoes with spinach and bacon

Peel and wash the potatoes, then cook them in a little butter. Defrost the spinach and fry the bacon in a pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. When the potatoes are done, drain the water and mash them with milk and an egg. Season the mash with salt and nutmeg, then mix with the spinach and bacon and serve. Serve with bratwurst.
