Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pack of gingerbread spice
- some salt
- ½ lemon(s), zest
- 3 eggs
- 125 ml milk
- 350 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 100 g chocolate, grated
- 25 g candied lemon, chopped
- 25 g candied orange peel, chopped
- 50 g almonds, chopped
- 25 g currants
- 25 g raisins
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp condensed milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Cream the butter until creamy, then gradually stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, spices, salt, lemon zest, and eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk. Finally, stir in the chocolate, candied lemon peel, candied orange peel, almonds, currants, and raisins. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes at 175-190 degrees Celsius. Remove the cake from the pan once it has cooled slightly and cover with cinnamon glaze made from the listed ingredients.
