Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 375 g butter
  • ¼ liter sour cream, thick
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • n. B. Sugar (granulated sugar) for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Make a dough from flour, baking powder, butter, sour cream, and salt. Chill for 1 hour. Then roll out to 1/2 cm thick and cut out round cookies or rings. Place on a baking sheet. Whisk the egg yolk with milk and then brush with it. Finally, sprinkle generously with sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 10-15 minutes.
