Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 70 g almonds, without skin
  • 250 g marzipan paste
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 30 g flour
  • 1 egg(s), (size M)
  • 1 tsp whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

ideal for Christmas time, makes approx. 35 pieces

Halve the almonds with a sharp knife. Coarsely grate the marzipan. Sift the powdered sugar and flour through a sieve. Separate the egg. Place the egg whites, powdered sugar, flour, and grated marzipan in a bowl. Mix well and knead into a smooth mixture. Form small balls with moistened hands. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Mix the egg yolk and cream and brush the balls with it. Then press three almond halves onto each ball. Bake in a preheated oven at approx. 170°C for approx. 20 minutes. Let cool thoroughly.
