Bienemaya's noodle and vegetable casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pasta, cook (e.g. spirals)
  • 350 g cooked vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and peas)
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g cheese, grated Gouda
  • Salt
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat oven to 250 degrees Celsius (482 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease a baking dish. Dice the ham, mix with the vegetables and pasta, and add to the dish. For the sauce, bring the milk and cream to a boil, season well with salt and nutmeg. Remove from heat and stir in two eggs. Pour the sauce over the casserole and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Simple and quick—we enjoy it again and again.
