Bifteki-Greek Meatballs with Sheep Cheese Filling
The perfect bifteki-greek meatballs with sheep cheese filling recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Ground beef
- 1 piece Clove of garlic
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Greek spice mix
- 0,25 tsp Dried thyme
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 150 g Feta cheese
- Salt and pepper
- Peel off the garlic clove and chop finely. Put the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, spice mixture, salt and pepper in a bowl and knead well.
- Divide the minced meat mixture into 12 portions, place on a worktop. Cut the feta cheese into small coarse pieces. Distribute the feta pieces on the minced meat and press down a little. Sprinkle the thyme on the feta. Form into meatballs with damp hands.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the Bifteki all over. I also had a salad sprinkled with the rest of the feta cheese.
