Meatballs with Tomato and Cheese Filling

The perfect meatballs with tomato and cheese filling recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

filling

  • 1 size Tomato
  • 2 stem Basil
  • 60 g Gorgonzola
  • 60 g Breadcrumbs

Meatballs

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tablespoon Milk
  • 3 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika powder

  1. Wash the basil, remove the leaves from the stem and chop up.
  2. Wash the tomato, cut in half, core and dice the pulp.
  3. Mash the gorgonzola with a fork and mix with the basil, diced tomatoes and breadcrumbs.

  1. Peel the garlic and onion and cut both into small cubes.
  2. Mix the minced meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, milk, onion and garlic well, season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Now take some minced meat in your hand, put some filling in the middle and cover with some minced meat and shape into a ball – flatten it a little and roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the meatballs on both sides for about 6-8 minutes until golden.
