Ingredients
- 250 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 125 g Butter
- 1 Egg
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Cocoa
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 Egg Whites
Instructions
- Mix the flour and baking powder. Add the butter, egg, sugar and vanilla sugar and knead in with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Halve the dough.
- Knead cocoa and milk under one half. Wrap both doughs in foil and put them in a cool place for about 30 minutes.
- Roll out a sheet of dough approx. 18 x 25 cm in size from both doughs on a floured work surface. Place the light-colored plate on cling film and brush with egg white.
- Place the dark plate on top, also brush with egg white. With the help of the foil, roll it up tightly into a roll from the long side and refrigerate for 1 - 2 hours.
- Cut the roll into about 30 slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 12 minutes.
- Place on a wire rack and let cool down. Tip: The cookies stay particularly fresh in a tin with a piece of apple.
