Golden Pumpkin Thalers with Yogurt Dip

The perfect golden pumpkin thalers with yogurt dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 St. Slices of butternut squash
  • 100 g Flour
  • 1 Beaten egg
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs

further:

  • Sweet paprika, salt, pepper
  • Some Milk
  • Oil for frying

Yogurt Dip:

  • 125 ml Natural yoghurt
  • Chopped fresh red chilli pepper, chives, salt
  1. Mix the flour with the paprika powder, salt and pepper. Beat the egg with some milk. Grate the Parmesan cheese and mix with the breadcrumbs.
  2. Bread the pumpkin slices with flour, egg and breadcrumbs.
  3. Let the oil get hot in a pan and fry the pumpkin “thalers” very slowly “golden”.
  4. YOGHURT DIP: Season the yoghurt with the spices to taste and serve with the “Gold-Talers”.
