Bean cakes, vegan

Soak the beans overnight. The next day, cook them in salt-free water until tender. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Grate the carrots into fine strips and dice the onion (or 2 spring onions). Sauté the onions and carrots in a little olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and, if desired, cumin. Place everything in a bowl. Add the beans and mix well. I used my hands for this, which caused the beans to burst slightly. Form the mixture into 10 small balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and flatten them. Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. Tips: You can eat the meatballs as they are with a salad or use them as a patty for a burger. You can also vary the ingredients. For example, mix parsley into the mixture. Garlic also goes well with beans. There is another video for this recipe on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/jnVcsmxG9lU
