Black Forest cherry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g black cherry(s), pitted
  • 500 g morello cherries, pitted
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of espresso, small cup
  • 30 ml cherry brandy (Black Forest cherry brandy)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Puree the morello cherries with the gelling sugar, cocoa, and espresso. Bring everything to a boil and add the black cherries. Boil the mixture for 4 minutes, then let it cool slightly and stir in the cherry brandy. Immediately pour the jam into the prepared jars, seal the jars, and turn them upside down for 10 minutes.
