Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 150 g cherries (sour cherries)
- 125 g butter, soft
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 150 g sour cream
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp cherry brandy
- 200 g cream, sweet
- 1 point cream stiffener
- 12 cherries (sour cherries)
- 3 tbsp chocolate shavings
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F), drain sour cherries. Melt butter and chocolate in a hot water bath and let cool again. Whisk eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, and sour cream, then add chocolate butter. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt over the chocolate mixture and stir gently. Stir in cherries. Fill baking cups and bake for 20-25 minutes. After cooling briefly, remove from the baking pan. Cut off muffin tops and drizzle with kirsch. Whip cream with whipped cream stabilizer and spread between the two muffin tops and on top. Garnish with a cherry and chocolate sprinkles.
