Blitz Apple Pie Made from Crumble Dough

The perfect blitz apple pie made from crumble dough recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Crumble dough:

  • 500 g Flour type 1050
  • 1 Pck. Baking powder
  • 220 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Butter, soft
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon powder

Apple filling:

  • 1 Kg Apples
  • 3 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • Almond sticks as needed

Crumble dough:

  1. Knead all ingredients into a crumble dough. Press half of the dough into a well-buttered springform pan, pulling up an approx. 2 cm high rim. (Diameter approx. 24 cm)
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 ° (circulating air).

Apple filling:

  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into pieces the size of a game cube. Store in lemon water.
  2. Pour off the lemon water from the apple pieces and mix them with the vanilla sugar and the almond sticks. Pour the mixture on the dough and distribute the 2nd half of the crumble evenly over it.
