Blob – Cake
The perfect blob – cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 225 g Flour
- 100 g Sugar
- Grated lemon peel
- 150 g Soft butter
- Egg
- 360 g Jam or compote
- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl. Add sugar, lemon zest and butter. Process the ingredients with a hand mixer with dough hook on the highest setting to make sprinkles of the desired size.
- Place well half of the Steusselteich in a 26 cm, greased baking pan and press it down to the bottom. Spread the jam in a blob.
- Spread the remaining dough as a sprinkle. put the tin on a wire rack in the oven.
- Hot air – 160 degrees (preheat) bake for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the springform pan and let it cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar as desired.
