How to Whiten Laundry at Home: a Few Simple Ways

After that, you should move the laundry to a soap solution, consisting of 150 ml of liquid soap per 5 liters of water, and leave it on overnight. Afterward, rinse several times in clean water.

How to whiten gray underwear

It is worth mentioning another way to whiten grayed underwear. For this purpose, you can use boric acid. This option will not be able to whiten yellowed things, but it can whiten white things from graying. It can be used for fabrics based on cotton, linen, and synthetics provided that it is not boiled.

To do this, add two tablespoons of boric acid to two liters of warm water. Leave things in this solution for a couple of hours, then wash them in the washing machine. If the dirt is old enough, you can boil things in this solution for an hour (but not synthetics), and then throw it in the washing machine.
