The cooking time for pasta depends on its shape.
- Long spaghetti cooks for 10-12 minutes.
- Whole-grain pasta – 7-10 minutes.
- Egg noodles – 9-10 minutes.
- Bow-tie pasta – 11 minutes.
- Shells – 8 minutes.
- Small soup pasta – 5 minutes.
