Blood Orange Sorbet
The perfect blood orange sorbet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Blood oranges or 300ml of juice
- 1 piece Fresh lime
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 tbsp Orange liqueur from my KB

- 200 ml Water
- Squeeze the oranges or measure 300 ml of a good orange juice
- Rub 1 teaspoon of the zest from the lime
- Sugar. Bring the water and lime zest to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes in a syrupy manner. Allow to cool slightly.
- Sieve off the sugar water solution and stir in the orange juice with the liqueur
- Let cool in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes – then in the ice machine or for about 5 hours in the freezer and whisk briefly every 30 minutes (because of the water crystals)
