Blue cheese sherry salad dressing or speck

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g blue cheese, e.g. Danablu, Roquefort or Gorgonzola piccante
  • 120 ml water, hot
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 120 ml sherry
  • 880 g mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Can be used variably over wedges of iceberg lettuce, but also as a dip for vegetable platters or chips

Crumble the cheese and melt it with the hot water. Add all the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth using a hand mixer. Store the dressing in a screw-top jar in the refrigerator for several weeks.
