Blueberry Cakes
The perfect blueberry cakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 350 g Flour
- 200 ml Lukewarm milk
- 0,5 dice Yeast or optionally 1pk. Dry yeast
- 100 g Butter
- 75 g Sugar
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 400 g Blueberries fresh
- 100 g Butter for baking in the form
- 20 g Powdered sugar
- Flour, lukewarm milk, yeast, sugar, butter, 1 pk. Work the vanilla sugar into a smooth yeast dough. Let it go for about 1/2 hour until it has visibly enlarged. Knead again and leave to rest for about 1/2 hour. Now divide the dough into approx. 12 equal pieces and press them flat. Distribute the blueberries evenly on the dough pieces. 1 tsp each. Sprinkle sugar and a pinch of vanilla sugar on top. Shape the dough pieces into small dumplings. Melt 100 g butter in a baking dish in the oven. Take out the mold and place the dumplings in the mold. Now the cakes are baked at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown. Pluck the cakes apart and arrange upside down on a plate. Dust with powdered sugar. The best thing to do is enjoy a little warm!
