Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • ½ liter buttermilk
  • ½ liter cream
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g almonds, without skin, ground
  • 8 sheets of red gelatin

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Buttermilk dessert from Schleswig-Holstein, quick and easy

Soak the gelatin in cold water. Combine the buttermilk, cream, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla sugar with the almonds in a bowl. Squeeze out the gelatin, dissolve it over low heat, and whisk it into the cream mixture. Let it set in the refrigerator.
