Boef Stroganoff
The perfect boef stroganoff recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 tbsp Clarified butter
- 300 g Onions
- 400 g Fresh mushrooms
- 3 Gherkins
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 2 tbsp Mustard medium hot
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 300 ml Sour cream 10% fat
- 900 g Mayor’S piece
- Heat 2 tbsp clarified butter in a pan. Fry the peeled and sliced onions in it. Add the cleaned and sliced mushrooms and stew for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, mustard and lemon juice. Add the sliced pickles and heat.
- Cut the mayor’s piece into strips or fine small slices and fry briefly in a pan with 2 tablespoons of clarified butter. Should still be pink in core.
- Mix the meat with the vegetables, pour in the sour cream. Do not heat but no longer boil, otherwise the cream will curdle. Season to taste and serve. For all sauce lovers, make with enough sauce. It is worth it .. As a side dish, French fries or croquettes and, if necessary, a green salad.
