Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 200 g semolina (durum wheat semolina)
- 200 g flour
- 0.2 liters of milk, lukewarm
- 1 cube of yeast
- 2 rolls, stale
- 2 eggs
- Salt
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Mix all ingredients together, then stir in the diced bread rolls. Cover and let rise for a good hour. Form an oblong dumpling and let it simmer in gently simmering water for about 40 minutes. It tastes great with any sauce.
