Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 carrots
  • ½ celeriac
  • 4 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 ½ kg minced meat, mixed
  • 3 small cans of tomatoes
  • ½ bottle of ketchup (curry ketchup)
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean all the fresh vegetables and chop them fairly finely. In the meantime, fry the minced meat in oil in a roasting pan until crumbly, then add the chopped vegetables and cook, stirring frequently. This takes about 15 minutes. Add the tomato paste, curry ketchup, and the canned tomatoes with their juices. Season with salt and pepper. Place the covered roasting pan in the oven and cook the Bolognese at 180°C for 2-3 hours, no less! I also use this sauce as a base for lasagna. Everyone has loved it so far.
