Grease a slightly larger baking dish with butter. Line the dish with half of the bread slices. Top with half of the grated apples and banana slices. Sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar, if desired. Spread half of the applesauce over the bread slices and spread all of the muesli on top. Place the remaining bread slices on this layer, then top with the grated apples, banana slices, cinnamon sugar, and applesauce. Place the toast slices on top and pour the egg mixture over everything. Finally, place small pieces of butter on the pyre and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes. Can be eaten hot, lukewarm, or cold!
