Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 pack of yufka pastry sheets
- 350 g natural yogurt
- 150 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 20 ml olive oil
- 500 g sheep’s cheese
- ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
- Salt

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Layered Börek
Grease a baking pan thoroughly or line it with parchment paper. Mix the yogurt, milk, eggs, and olive oil together thoroughly. Season with salt, if desired. Mix the feta cheese with the parsley. First, place a layer of yufka dough in the pan, spread the yogurt mixture on top, then layer more yufka, then feta cheese, then another layer of yufka, then more yogurt, then yufka, then feta cheese, and so on until all the filling is used up. Top with the yogurt mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 30 minutes.
