Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls (frozen or fresh)
  • 8 small sausages (Nuremberg sausages)
  • some oil for frying
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some pepper
  • 1 tsp, leveled curry powder
  • e.g. mustard, medium hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the onions and mix with 2 tablespoons of oil, salt, pepper, and curry powder. Let the onion mixture marinate for a while. Then bake the fresh rolls in a preheated oven at 180°C for 5 minutes until crisp and lukewarm. Alternatively, bake frozen rolls according to the package instructions. Fry the sausages in a frying pan with a little oil until crispy and brown all over. Cut the rolls open, spread with mustard, and generously cover the bottom half with the onion mixture. Then top with 2-3 sausages (depending on your taste and hunger) and arrange them together.
