one of my favorite dishes

Boil the potatoes, peel them, and press them through a potato ricer while they’re still hot. Mix with flour, egg, and spreadable butter, and season generously with salt and nutmeg. Cut the sausage into small cubes and stir in. On a floured surface, form the dough into a roll about 15 cm long. Divide the roll into 12 pieces, shape into patties, and fry in hot oil until crispy on both sides. Drain well and serve with leaf salad. Coleslaw also goes particularly well. It tastes good without the sausage, too.
