Bosnian potato soup with sužuk

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1 liter of water
  • ½ Sucuk (Sužuk), Bosnian
  • 2 ½ tbsp flour
  • 150 ml oil
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tsp, heaped Vegeta

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into small, but not too small, cubes. Boil in a pot with the water until soft. Heat the oil in a small pot or frying pan and whisk in the flour to eliminate any lumps. Season with paprika and Vegeta and add to the potatoes while still hot. Bring back to a boil until the soup thickens. Cut the sužuk into cubes and add them, then let it simmer for 10 minutes. Super quick, easy, and filling! Serve with white bread.
