Boston baked beans

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 5 cloves
  • 500 g beans, white, cooked (can)
  • 1 cube of stock
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • ½ cup(s) tomato ketchup (approx. 125 ml)
  • pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp savory, dried
  • ½ cup(s) beet syrup (approx. 125 ml)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Rinse the earthenware pot with water. Peel the onion, stud it with the cloves, and place it in the earthenware pot. Add the beans and the liquid. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the beans. Mix well. Close the earthenware pot and place it in a cold oven at 200°C for 50 minutes. Serve with crispy fried bacon. This is no longer vegetarian.
