Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 thick schnitzels (salmon schnitzel from pork, approx. 1 – 1.2 cm thick)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 jar mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 m.-sized tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 slice(s) toast bread (sandwich toast)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 4 slices of processed cheese (Chester)
  • Broth, granulated
  • some cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Season the salmon schnitzels with salt and pepper and fry until cooked through. Then place in the oven and keep warm. Season the mushrooms with a little salt and pepper and sauté in the same pan. Then add the cream. Simmer briefly over low heat. Season with granulated stock and thicken with cornstarch. Toast the bread in the toaster and then arrange on a plate. Then add the schnitzels and pour the sauce over them. Finally, top with the tomatoes and Cheshire cheese.
