Box of Curd Bread
The perfect box of curd bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 50 g Soft butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 250 g Lowfat quark
- 500 g Flour
- 2 packet Baking powder
- 200 ml Cold milk
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a loaf pan with parchment paper – to do this, crumple the parchment paper, wet it under cold running water and squeeze it out well, so the parchment paper can be wonderfully fitted into the shape.
- Mix the softened butter with the sugar and salt until frothy, then add the quark and mix everything very well. Now the dough hook of the food processor is used. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the quark-butter mixture together with the milk and knead into a homogeneous dough using the dough hook of the food processor.
- Then knead well again with your hands, shape into a roll and put in the cheese mold. Cut diagonally several times with a sharp knife and brush with milk. And then bake on the 2nd rack from the bottom for 40 – 45 minutes and then leave to cool on a wire rack.
