Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 beef steaks, approx. 80g each
- 100 g ham, raw, cut into strips
- 300 g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bunch parsley, chopped
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Pepper the steaks on both sides, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and cover and set aside. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan, stir in the ham, and sauté for 2 minutes. Mix in the mushrooms and parsley and continue to sauté gently for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Transfer to a wide baking dish. Place the marinated steaks side by side on the mushroom mixture. Braise in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the meat over, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. To serve, cover the steaks with the mushroom mixture and sprinkle with parsley.
