- 4 Bratwurst fine
- 1 Fresh onion
- 2 Clove of garlic
- 1 Msp Caraway seeds
- 1 tablespoon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
- 0,125 liter Water hot
- Dried herbs
Instructions
- First a word about braised sausage. In our area, the bratwurst is called "Schmorwurst" that is the one that also comes on the grill. The bratwurst is a sausage that is used as a topping on bread. Also known as cut-resistant Mettwurst, Braunschweiger or similar.
- Since I was doing trial work last week, I had to get something warm, quickly made food in the evening.
- First peel the potatoes and cook them until soft as usual.
- Then peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, cut the braised sausage into pieces. Heat a little fat in the pan, fry the stewed sausage, add the onion and garlic and roast with it.
- Then add the mustard and ketchup and let roast with the caraway seeds and pour hot water briefly bring to the boil, add the herbs and let it boil down a little.
- Taste ... no need to season as the sausage was already well seasoned.
- I also served a kohlrabi vegetable .............
