Braised savoy cabbage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large savoy cabbage
  • 150 g diced ham
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp flour, heaped tablespoons
  • some water
  • 200 ml chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • Maggi
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Remove the stalks from the savoy cabbage and cut into thin strips. Brown the ham cubes in a large pot, add the diced onions, and sauté until translucent. Now add the savoy cabbage strips to the ham cubes, pour in the broth, and sauté until cooked through. Mix the flour with a little water and add it. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Maggi seasoning.
