Bratwurst goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg bratwurst, coarsely chopped
  • 1 ½ kg onion(s), quartered
  • 2 bell pepper(s), red, cut into strips
  • 2 bell peppers, green, cut into strips
  • 750 ml water
  • 2 points meat (Hungarian goulash)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Brown the sausage pieces with the onions. Add the bell peppers and cook for about 2 minutes. Then add about 250 ml of water and cook everything for 10-15 minutes. Then add about another 500 ml of water, stir in the package of Hungarian goulash, and cook for about another 30 minutes. This goes best with dumplings (half and half) and sauerkraut, but it also tastes good with pasta.
