Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 pieces of bratwurst, fresh
  • 3 cup(s) beer
  • 12 black pepper
  • 6 buns (hot dog buns)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pierce small holes in the bratwurst with a toothpick. Bring the bratwurst, beer, and peppercorns to a boil in a pot. Cover the pot and let it simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes (it should no longer be raw). Drain the liquid and grill the bratwurst as usual.
