Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of toast
- some remoulade
- 4 sausages, leftovers from the grill
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 gherkins
- 1 m.-sized tomato(s)
- some ketchup
- 4 slices of cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Recycling leftovers
Cut the sausages and gherkins lengthwise into thin slices. Slice the tomatoes as well. Peel the onion and slice it into rings. Spread the toast slices thinly with the remoulade sauce. Distribute the sausage, gherkins, tomato, and onion on the toast slices. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of toast. Bake in the oven at 200°C until the cheese melts golden brown.
