Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 sausages, (farmer’s sausages) coarse
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Form the minced meat from the sausages into balls about 2 cm in size. Peel the onions and slice them into strips. Remove the stems from the tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Heat the olive oil in a lidded pan and fry the minced meat balls until browned. Add the onion strips and fry. Then add the tomato pieces and stir briefly. Crumble the feta cheese over the sausage, tomato, and onion mixture and simmer gently for 15 minutes over low heat with the lid closed. Serve on plates and season with freshly ground pepper to taste. This goes best with ciabatta, stone-baked bread, or a baguette and a good glass of wine.
