Bratwurst with Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage and Yellow Potatoes

Ingredients
 

  • 200 g 2 sausages
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 500 g Sweet and sour red cabbage / see my recipe: *)
  • 400 g Small potatoes (10 pieces)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
  • 2 Stalk Parsley
  • 2 piece Mini tomatoes
  • Medium hot mustard

Instructions
 

  • Halve the sausages and fry them until golden brown on all sides in a pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp). Slowly heat sweet and sour red cabbage in a small saucepan, stirring every now and then. Peel and wash the potatoes and cook in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) with turmeric (1 teaspoon) and whole caraway seeds (1 teaspoon) for about 20 minutes and drain. Serve the sausage with sweet and sour red cabbage and yellow potatoes, each garnished with a mini tomato and parsley stalks. Serve with medium-hot mustard. *) Sweet and sour red cabbage
