Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • ½ cube of yeast
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 500 ml water, lukewarm
  • 375 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 300 g wheat bran or whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda) or
  • 100 g bacon, finely diced or
  • 100 g olives, finely diced or
  • 100 g walnuts or
  • 2 m.-large onion(s), roasted

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

For people with little time!

Dissolve yeast and sugar in the water. Add flour and knead with a hand mixer for about 3 minutes. Cover the dough with a tea towel. Grease a bread pan (or a loaf pan) with butter (the yeast will rise during this time). Add salt and any other ingredients you may need. Score the dough in the pan with a knife, about 2-3 cm deep. Bake in a cold oven at 225°C for about 1 hour.
