Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) bread(s) (wholemeal), gluten-free
  • 8 slice(s) cheese, lactose-free
  • 2 large beefsteak tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • basil
  • oregano
  • possibly pepper, from the mill
  • olive oil
  • 8 slices of beef salami

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spread the bread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Drizzle the bread with olive oil – do not soak it. Wash and slice the tomatoes, then distribute them evenly among the bread. Peel the garlic cloves, slice them into thin strips, and scatter them over the tomatoes. Place two slices of salami on top of each bread. Sprinkle the finely chopped oregano over the top and finally place a slice of lactose-free semi-hard cheese on each bread. Bake in the oven at medium heat until golden brown and then garnish with fresh basil. You can also vary the ingredients according to taste, e.g. make a vegetarian pizza or use other vegetables.
